Arjun Agarwal is an Aerospace Engineering major from Salisbury, MD. Arjun is a Banneker/Key Scholar, an undergraduate research assistant in the Space Power & Propulsion Laboratory and a member of the Hyperloop Team. In his spare time, he enjoys playing in the racquetball club and reading. Arjun is excited for wireless optical communication, especially in its physical properties.
Andrew is a Computer Engineering Major in the class of 2020. He resides in Clarksville, MD, but has spent time studying in China during his childhood. He enjoys drawing, hanging out with friends, and playing video games. Most importantly, he loves learning new things and exercising his brain.
Thomas Good is a fire protection engineering major from Gaithersburg, Maryland. Thomas is a Banneker/Key Scholar and an active member of the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department where he serves the citizens of Rockville weekly on Friday nights. He has played ice hockey for 16 years and is a diehard Washington Capitals fan. He is very excited to conduct research in wireless optical communications and work on a research team.
Miles Grissom is studying Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland. From Clarksburg, Maryland, Miles is keen on furthering his progress in the field of digital logic design. Miles spends his free time playing an eclectic arrange of board games with friends and working on archery. He is enthusiastic to start the research process into visual light communications.
Daniel Klawson is from Ellicott City, MD and is studying Electrical Engineering. He is an keen competitor in intramural soccer, in which he enjoys following professionally as well. With the University, he is a Gemstone connect mentor and an Undergraduate Teaching Fellow in the UMD ECE department, and is very excited to research optical wireless communications.
Coby Levit is a Government and Politics major from Gladwyne, Pennsylvania. Coby is an active member of the Sigma Nu fraternity at the University of Maryland, and enjoys time spent with his friends and family in his free time. Coby is an avid fan of philosophy, literature, and writing, and he his especially excited to begin his studies in the newfound world of wireless optical communication.
Will Nix is an electrical engineering student and President's Scholar from Severna Park, Maryland. He is heavily involved in UMD Cru leadership and plays on several intramural sports teams on campus. He has interned the past two summers for the U.S. Government as an electrical engineer. In his free time, Will enjoys baseball, reading, and spending time with friends. Will is particularly excited to explore the potential of LiFi with Team OPTIC.
Michael Pique is an electrical engineering student from Crofton, MD. Michael is a Banneker/Key Scholar, a Gemstone CONNECT mentor, a member of Terps Racing, and has participated in Terp Service. In his free time, Michael enjoys working on cars and hiking. He is excited about his research in optical wireless communication and hopes it will complement his studies.

He is very interested in visual light communication research.
Nicholas Zhao is a computer engineering and math student from Clarksville, MD. Nicholas is a Presidential Scholar and a Laboratory Teaching Fellow for the Keystone Program. In his free time, he enjoys running, swimming, and traveling. He is interested in programming and applied math, and hopes that researching optical wireless communication will help him pursue his interests.
